The stronghold of the Druids,the island of Anglesey (Wales) is attacted by a Roman force sent to exterminate the rebels who have gathered there. The Druids are targeted for their fostering of rebellion in Britian. Celtic warriors line along the beaches ,while the Druids and women stand in between the formations cursing the Romans. The Romans heavy artillery take up position on the mainland side of the strait that separates them from the island and engage the Celtic warriors.Mean while soldiers and cavalry cross the water once on shore the Celts can no longer hold them and are slaughtered .The Druids are burned alive within their sacred oak groves .The storming of Anglesey because of its ferocity was a huge blow to the British Celts
